Richard John Dangel

Richard John “Rick” Dangel who lived his life in Little Italy, Wilmington, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, after a short battle with cancer at the Christiana Hospice with his family by his side every step of the way. 

Rick was a “one of a kind” Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.  We will cherish all the memories we made together over the years and will miss him terribly.

Rick is survived by his daughter Denise and her husband Randy,  his son Larry and his wife Sandy.  His granddaughter Katie, and grandsons Larry Jr. and Jake.  He is son of the late Anna and Karl Dangel and husband of the late Ann Dangel.  He is also predeceased by his granddaughter Jessika. 

A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2pm at Cathedral Cemetery Chapel, 2400 Lancaster Ave. Wilmington, DE. 19805.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Rick’s favorite charity, The Humane Animal Partners, 701 A Street Wilm., DE. 19801
