Santos A. Balmaceda, 34, of Wilmington Delaware, passed away on September 4th, 2024.
**Santos A. Balmaceda**, affectionately known as Alex, was born in San Fernando, California, on May 10, 1990. His parents, Vicenta Cruz-Ramirez and Santos Balmaceda Gomez, relocated to Wilmington, Delaware, with Alex to provide him with a nurturing environment. Alex was a devoted brother to Liliana Balmaceda and Jesus A. Balmaceda.
Despite facing numerous challenges, Alex demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination. He persevered through adversity, working tirelessly to overcome obstacles.
Alex’s compassionate spirit was passed down to his children, Jaylinn, Adeline, and Aviana. Tragically, Alex’s life was cut short, but he cherished every moment with his three children, making the most of their limited time together.
Alex’s friends played a crucial role in his life, providing continuous support and ensuring he received the assistance he needed from both his family and friends. His aunt Maria provided unwavering support during his darkest moments.
Tragically, Alex passed away, but his legacy lives on. His selfless act of organ donation saved the lives of three individuals, transforming him into a hero to many.
Services will be held at Corleto Latina Funeral Home on September 20th at 12:00 PM. A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM immediately following the burial at Silverbrook Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
