William David Donofrio

William David Donofrio beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Sunday November 24th, 2024. Devoted husband to the late Frances who he loved dearly, dear father, “the best dad ever”, to Mary Teresa and Billy who left the world too soon, and Pop pop to his two beautiful grandchildren William and Teresa. He worked at duPont, a self made chemical engineer. He was an avid gardener and a tinkerer. He could build or fix anything. He is the Last Donofrio of the original siblings who taught all of us children the blessings of love and family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 2, 2024 at 12:30PM  at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Dupont Streets, Wilmington.  Family and Friends are invited to a visitation prior to Mass starting at 11:30AM.  Interment will follow Mass in Cathedral Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Meals on Wheels of Delaware (mealsonwheelsde.org) or the National Council on Aging (www.ncoa.org)
