William Joseph “Bill” Dugan, age 78, passed away on June 11, 2024. Bill was born and raised in the Flats in Wilmington, DE to the late Allen J. and Lena M. Dugan. Upon graduating from H. Fletcher Brown Vocational High School, he served in the Delaware National Guard and worked for many years at both Huber’s Baking Co. and Shellhorn & Hill, Inc.
Bill is predeceased by his son William J. “Billy” Dugan II, his brother Lawrence A. “Larry” Dugan, his first wife Donna M. Dugan and his second wife Anita L. Dugan. He is survived by his daughter Susan M. Reeves and her husband Stewart of West Grove, PA; sons Andrew A. Dugan and his wife Olivia of New Orleans, LA and John L. A. Dugan and his wife Julia of Pawtucket, RI. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Emily, Dillon, Isabel, Ciaran, and Owen; his sister Linda M. Dugan of West Grove, PA; and his brother Vincent A. “Buzz” Dugan and his wife Joanne of Strongsville, OH.
A private ceremony will be held at Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington, DE
