Andrew "Andy" Crossley

Andrew S. Crossley, Jr, age 86, passed away peacefully at home with his loving daughters by his side on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 26, 1929, Andy was the son of the late Andrew and Leona Crossley.  He attended Olney High School where he met the love of his life, Carol B. Pacella whom he later married.

Andy proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was employed with General Motors for 35 years, retiring in 1986 as a General Supervisor.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard and his wife of 58 years, Carol.

Andy enjoyed fishing, crabbing, playing cards, and most of all, spending time with family. He also enjoyed worshiping at Bible Fellowship Church and was a long time member of Hiram Lodge #25 A.F. & A.M.  He was also a member of the Nur Shrine Temple in New Castle, DE.  

Andy was a beloved husband, father, pop-pop, great-grandfather, and “the best neighbor ever”.  He brought joy and love to all those who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters Linda Howard and Cindy Bain (Roger) of Delaware; grandchildren Heather (Evan), Shelly (Aaron), Stephanie (Greg), Kristen, Kyle, Rachael, CJ and Faith; great grandchildren Ashden, Addie and Paige

Interment with military honors will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear DE. at 1 pm
