Please accept my condolences. Please be reminded, we can draw comfort from the scriptures during this difficult time. God's word, the Bible, refers to death as an enemy that will soon be done away with at 1Corinthians 15verse 26. Additionially, the Bible mentions a time when all of humankind will have the privilege of reuniting with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. Jesus words at John 5vs28and 29 assure us that this will no doubt take place. It is encouraging to know that the Almighty God not only has the power, but also desires to fulfill such Bible promises. Job 14verses14 and 15.

Again, you have my deepest sympathy.

So sorry to read about the death of your dear love one. May the God of all comfort be with you during this time of grief. God promises to be with those broken at heart and crushed in spirit Psalms 34; 18

To the family of Jack & Betty McClelland:

We taught with Jack at North East High School in North East, Maryland, and we became close friends with both of your wonderful parents. We had dinner together a lot and enjoyed their company greatly. We think that you all were very lucky to have such wonderful parents who not only cared for you, but a lot of other people. Your parents will be remembered as having given, and given to many others with lots of love.
Sincerely,
Ann & Wayne Hill

May the promise found at Isaiah 25:8 bring some comfort in the death of John Howard McClelland. "He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces." Just imagine no more pain and grief due to the death of a love one! By means of the Kingdom that Jesus Christ taught us to pray for at Matthew 6:9,10 God will remove sickness, old age and death from the human family. God's original purpose for the earth being a paradise will be realized.
