Louis F. Lardear

Louis F. Lardear, age 81, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at home with his loving family and friends.
Lou graduated from Wilmington High School in 1950 and Goldey Beacom College.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and served as a medic in the Army Medical Corp.  He worked at the DuPont Experimental Station for 41 years, retiring in 1993.  He enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball and golf.
Lou was preceded in death by his son, Louis, his mother Angeline Lardear and his brother Philip Lardear.  Lou is survived by his daughter Janet Lardear, son Vincent Lardear and his wife April, beautiful little granddaughter Nina and grandson Gino, and lifelong friends Dr. Al Ciarlo and Vince Ciarlo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont St. Wilmington on Monday, February 17 at 11am.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to mass on Monday morning from 10-11am.
